Sadly, I wasn’t there. Coachella is decidedly the most bad a** of all events yearly here on the Left Coast. I can’t think of anything that tops this festival in terms of size, scope and general awesomeness. So awesome in fact that they decided to do two weeks instead of one this year. Smooth.

Anyway, sitting at home like blogger I am I wanted to post for all the rest of you who didn’t get to attend either what would have been my two highlights.

Tupac. Seriously? Someone on Twitter wrote, “I can’t even begin to imagine what this Tupac hologram is doing to all the people at Coachella that have been on acid for 3 days straight.” Exactly. 

Another level of epic. The trick reportedly cost somewhere around $10M. I would have paid double for a Nirvana reunion.

Secondly, everyone knows what a nut I am about The Weeknd. At the last minute they streamed his set live, which I missed because I wasn’t glued to my Twitter. Grumpy. Thankfully someone uploaded a pretty great cut of the performance. Check it out…
