Last Friday I had the most serendipitous experience while hunting through the LA Fashion District with my photographer buddy Bryce Fisher. We had just photographed the owner of Pattern Bar, got no more than five steps out the door when this caught our eye:
I mean, you can’t not (triple negative suckas!) investigate, right?
What happened next was a blur of excited speech and otherworldly emotion. An out-pouring of guru-like sentiments and an attachment of wings happened. Bryce and I met four of the most wonderful cool, and “enlightened” young women…the women of Peace Yoga Gallery.
Cheri Rae, their leader, grabbed my hand an in a whirl I was transported to a mystic studio. The wall proclaimed, “Fuck You! Its magic!” I knew this was too good to pass up.
For the next several minutes, which went by like a blur of color and imagination, we toured, talked spirituality and ate the most outrageously good frozen cacao thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. And it was only laced with love and awesomeness.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you Cheri Rae for your rapid fire orders to do this and look at that, and eat this and check that out. You made my day a spiritual crazy love fest that I’ll remember forever…and if I don’t for whatever reason, at least there is photo evidence to remind me of what its like to have wings…

Too funny! It’s amazing what you can find if you just give in to a little spontaneity. It sounds like you had a blast! Also, love the photos
Thank you! People think such tiny little wonders in life are rare, but you always have to be looking out!
