Talk about a global mind blow. This past weekend, October 4-7, Filter Magazine’s “Culture Collide” took over the Echo Park neighborhood here in Los Angeles.
A simple invitation turned into insane four-day international festival of food, film, happy hours and a cultural fusion of live performances from the around the world. Culture Collide ended with a rip-roaring block party that shook the roofs of Echo and surrounding neighborhoods.
While the style of music wasn’t my typical go-to (hip-hop head here), bands like Ewert & The Two Dragons (Estonia), Immanu El (Sweden) and Young Buffalo (USA), made a new fan this weekend.
